【Scope of application】

The determination of smoke density is an important aspect of evaluating the combustion characteristics of cables or optical cables, which is related to the evacuation of personnel and the judgment of whether they can be close to extinguish the fire. This instrument is mainly used to determine the smoke concentration released by cables and optical cables when burned under specific conditions, and to verify the smoke density generated. In flame-burning or flameless combustion conditions, light transmittance is used as a way to compare different cables or fiber optic cables under specific conditions.

[Scope of application]:

This instrument is mainly used to determine the smoke concentration released by cables and optical cables when burned under specific conditions, and to verify the smoke density generated. [Meet the standard]:
 It complies with Part 1 "Test Device" and Part 2 "Test Procedures and Requirements" in GB/T17651.1~2 and IEC61034-1~2 "Determination of Smoke Density of Combustion of Cables or Optical Cables under Specific Conditions".
[Instrument features]: 
1. Dual operation mode, can be operated on the touch screen, or can be controlled on the computer, and the operation mode can be switched arbitrarily;(Computer and printer users bring their own, and the host computer software is issued with the device)

 【Technical Parameters】:
1. Combustion chamber: internal size: 3M ×3M× 3M a total of 27 cubic meters. It can be brick wall structure or steel plate structure, which is chosen by the customer.
2. Light measurement device: A. Imported quartz halogen lamp from the light source: nominal power 100W, nominal voltage: 12V, nominal light return: 2000-3000Lm  
B. Acceptor: silicon photocell, light transmittance 0% is no light passing, light transmittance 100% light is completely unobstructed.   
3. Standard ignition source: A. The ignition source is 1.0L alcohol (user-prepared)
B. Alcohol plate: stainless steel, bottom surface 210×110mm,
Top surface 240×140mm, height 80mm
4. Mixing of smoke: Use a desktop fan to distribute the smoke evenly in the combustion chamber.
5. Blank test: Burning alcohol lamp makes the temperature of the combustion chamber reach 25±5°C.
6. Temperature measurement device: 1.5M from the ground on the inner surface of the door,
A temperature sensor is installed 0.5 meters from the wall.
7. Includes a set of light transmittance measurement software, which can output curves and reports.
