【Scope of application】:
The water resistance measuring instrument is mainly used for the determination of the water resistance of contact wound dressings (500mm hydrostatic pressure 300S capacity).

【Technical Parameters】:
1. Liquid level scale: 500mm
2. Inner diameter of the fixture: 50mm
3. Fixture depth: 40mm
4. Fixture outer diameter: 80mm
5. Water pipe inner diameter: 10mm
6. Water pipe height: 550mm
【Test Steps】:
1. The prepared sample should be free of wrinkles;
2. Fill the pool with purified water at (21±2)°C;
3. Place the sample on the lower ring in a horizontal sliding manner to avoid air between the surface of water and the lower surface of the sample;
4. Cover the upper surface of the sample with dry filter paper larger than the test area, put the upper ring, and clamp it with a threaded device;
5. Inject water into the tube until it reaches the required water level above the sample surface;
6. Maintain the water pressure (300±10)S;
7. Check whether there is water seepage through the sample on the filter paper and record the results;
【Evaluation of test results】:
Check whether the filter paper has passed the water seepage and record the results, if any of the 3 samples have water seepage test failed.
